The Witcher 2 Almost Sells 1 Million Copies

Wednesday, 31 August 2011 0 comments

Castrum - The Witcher 2 sold 940,000 copies in the first half of 2011.

Pretty good for a PC RPG in this day and age, especially one that is very-easily pirated due to GOG.com's No DRM policy.

Castrum - The three original Ultima games, which I myself have never tried, are now available at GOG.com in a 3-pack for $6.00:

Castrum - Guess they figured a pair of Good Old Girls would complement their booth:

I've never played either of these, but I imagine they might be good fun.

Witcher 2 $30 Until End Of The Week

Thursday, 18 August 2011 0 comments

Castrum - The Witcher 2 is marked down to $30 on GOG.com until the end of the week (I'd say probably Monday the sale will end), so get it while you can:
DRM-free digital distribution platform GoG has given us another reason to get excited about Gamescom -- a reason that doesn't include the near-constant stream of tasty German beers. For the rest of the week, CD Projekt's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has been marked down to $29.99 on the GoG storefront.

GOG.com - Rollercoaster Tycoon 2

Castrum - GOG.com has once again proved their awesomeness, with Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 now available for purchase:

I'm a huge fan of both GOG and the Rollercoaster Tycoon series, though I would have more incentive to buy this if I didn't already own Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 on GOG already.

BTW, all GOG games will work on XP, Vista, and Win7. Unlike some other game download services I could name.
