"Steam Trading" Live... Now!

Tuesday, 6 September 2011 0 comments

Out of the beta, and into the wide open, Steam Trading is now available to everyone. Steam Trading is the program that allows people to trade in-game items with one another. Even though it is live, it is still very limited in that you can only trade in-game items in Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, and Spiral Knights.

The program also allows you to trade your games which were bought as gifts to be traded for in game items as well. Nifty!

Head over to Joystiq for the full article and more info.

Portal 2's First DLC Will Be Out In September

Castrum - Still haven't picked this one up. The price tag just isn't worth it IMO:
That first (and free) downloadable content pack for Valve's Portal 2—originally announced in April for a summertime release—will be released mid-September, says the company. That's "still technically summer," Valve's Doug Lombardi assured Kotaku at Gamescom.

Portal 2 Now $30, The Price It Should Always Have Been

Saturday, 13 August 2011 0 comments

Castrum - So Portal 2 is now $30 on Steam, which quite honestly should have been its launch price. Hell, it should be the launch price of any FPS these days with a 4 - 10-hour storyline (which, admittedly, would be most of them). I may pick this up now, though chances are I'll be waiting for Steam's annual Christmas Sale before I partake:
