League of Legends: Dominion Beta Now Open

It appears the League of Legend: Dominion beta is now here! The developers have stated they are going to be opening and testing their platforms during the off-peak hours, as to not disrupt any of the normal functions. Keep checking on the forums for times when you can participate in the beta.

GameStop Beta-Testing Console Game Streaming

Castrum - This could be interesting:

Gamestop has been testing a console game streaming service and hopes to have a beta in place by year's end, according to a report from GamesIndustry.biz.

We know this will be a service for members of GameStop's PowerUp Rewards program and that demos will be provided, but the rest (most importantly, the pricing) is a mystery. But take heart: GI.biz reports we can expect more details early next year, with a full roll-out by the middle of 2012.

Diablo 3 Beta Announced

Diablo III's beta will hit by September, hopefully before, Blizzard game director Jay Wilson said during a Gamescom press conference today. When's the game coming out? "When it's ready." Got it?

DOTA 2 Beta Registration

Castrum - For those of you who are interested:

Valve has posted information about "The International" Dota 2 tournament going on at Gamescom this week, but a bunch of news about lucky Gamescom attendees playing the game isn't nearly as exciting as, you know, playing the game yourself. Along with the tourney schedule, Valve has opened up beta registration to the public for Dota 2. To sign up, all you need to do is head over to the Dota 2 page, sign into Steam and then click "Get on the List" to join.
